Our Mission

We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we believe that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Sunday, November 27, 2022 is Every Members Present Day! This is a time when members at New Settlement Road reach out to encourage all members of New Settlement Road Church of Christ, strengthen them and uplift them with love and understanding. Brother Carter Ross is slated to be the featured speaker. Make plans to join us that day as we plan on having a day filled with love, joy, peace and understanding as we praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Gifts for the In Church Christmas Exchange are due Sunday, December 25, 2022. For more information, please see Sister Stephanie Kelly.

The corona virus is still a threat and news cases are on the rise. Another new  health threat is monkey pox. Wash the front and back of your hands, all the way up to your elbows for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water several times a day to stay healthy and use hand sanitizer when you can't use soap and water. Please maintain the required 6 foot social distancing, wipe down surfaces and continue to wear your mask.

On September 4, 2022, the New Settlement Road Church of Christ began serving breakfast from 8:50am until 9:30am to the surrounding community and members. Our mission is to not only feed you spiritual food, but physical food as well. Please join us every Sunday, from 8:50am for our new breakfast ministry. To find out how you can help, please see Sister Valarie Lykes.

The next Church Fellowship will be Sunday, November 27, 2022 after the 11am Worship Service. Please see Sis. Valarie Lykes for more information. Brothers are asked to bring a case of water and a bag of ice.

Ministry Heads - as per Elder Thomas, ministry meetings will now be held on a quarterly basis. The next quarterly meeting will be due in December, with Goals and Strategy Sheets due to Elder Thomas by the first Sunday in January, 2023. Please see Sister Lisha Kidd if you have any questions.

If you have received your COVID vaccination, please keep COVID vaccine card in a safe place and do not laminate.
